This was a great introduction to cybersecurity and the foundational concepts. I was able to build on the knowledge I learned from this program and earn my CompTia Security+ certification. I also love that it’s a thorough self paced program that’s valuable in today’s market.

I loved that it was truly entry level and had examples of real people working at google who transitioned from different fields into cybersecurity. It was very important to me that there were women like myself represented of all backgrounds! I really love that it had videos!

I really enjoyed this course and I am happy with the education I've received from it. I like the pacing, switching between videos, readings, interactive examples, and exams. All of this helped me cement what I learned in the course along with the notes I took along the way.

This course really helped my understanding of cybersecurity and some of the key terms used in the industry. The delivery of information was easy to understand. The test for each section was in a format was easy to complete, but required me to think about what I had learned.

This course gives you foundational understanding of cybersecurity, in an easy to follow and extremely interesting way. For someone who have no any background of cybersecurity or even IT, this course helped me a lot to understand the field and gave me a deep insight into it.

This course is a comprehensive and practical approach to cybersecurity, equipping learners with the skills and knowledge needed to address real-world threats effectively. Its emphasis on proactive strategies and hands-on exercises fosters a proactive cybersecurity mindset.

Foundations of Cybersecurity was engaging, informative, and easy to flow through. I went through the course while in the middle of a move. Finished in approximately 13 hours and felt amazing once I saw my certificate. It gave me the motivation that I needed to keep going.

This was an excellent and well structured introductory course that has slews of information that it doesn't throw at you all at once. It honestly feels more like an employer's training program more than an online college course, and that's not a bad thing by any means.

As a beginner I really enjoyed this, so much to learn and take in, however the steps are really useful and provide alot of insight into the realities of the role, jobs you'll be doing once qualified and measures necessary to succeed.

This course has beautifully covered all foundational concepts of cybersecurity. This course is designed particularly for someone who has not any background of cybersecurity and want to build foundation in this field! I appreciate the work of Google Career Certificates!

This course teaches the basic concepts of cybersecurity including terms used in the industry, how the industry shaped throughout the years, several attacks in the past, frameworks and guidelines to reduce the risk of being attacked, and finally professional statements.

As an IT Graduate, the course gave me a lot of new knowledge and insights about Cybersecurity. Being one of those who wanted to shift their career to Cybersecurity, we need to have a solid foundation before we dive into the constantly evolving world of Cybersecurity.

I thought that this course would be a very daunting task to learn. However, the course was/is broken down into small digestible bites. Plus, you can learn at your own pace too. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to break into a career of cyber-security.
